Evaluation and Treatment of Runners

Every runner, from beginner to advanced, knows the importance of staying injury free.  If injury strikes, they experience a sense of immediacy to recover and resume their running routine or training program.  At Blaser Physical Therapy, we have developed a comprehensive approach to the evaluation and treatment of runner's injuries as well as improving the efficiency of the running pattern to avoid injury and maximize performance.

Following the gathering of a thorough history, the runner is then observed and video taped utilizing a sophisticated computerized software analysis system.  The results are reviewed with the runner on site and the runner is provided a CD copy of their gait analysis to take home and further review.  Based on this comprehensive evaluation and analysis, a treatment plan is developed by the physical therapist and put in place for optimal results.Treatment techniques include shoe recommendations, manual treatment, taping techniques, a broad range of modalities including laser light therapy, flexibility and strengthening programs as
well as orthotic and brace recommendations if required. A running plan will also be
developed for the runner at the appropriate stage of recovery.
Come and experience this state of the art approach to the effective treatment of running injuries and get back on the road to success.
